26-Apr-2009 Round 8, Hamilton 400 Street Race 17th – 19th April 2009
NZV8 Series 2008 - 2009 Hamilton 400 Street Race 17th – 19th April 2009 As an event it was superb; well run in a friendly atmosphere. Gone were the razor wire fences and barriers, and with the correct passes we could go most places. Still some greedy moteliers hanging out for huge increases in room rates, and it was good to see some not full. More and more make a daily trip and for our team it only.............

24-Mar-2009 Round, 7 Pukekohe, 14th – 15th March 2009
A fine summers day at Pukekohe prior to the oak trees losing their leaves is fantastic. This is a fast track with good spectator viewing and facilities AND real coffee. An open creek runs between the pit road and the hill stand area. This has been tidied up over the years and planted both sides with ferns, flax and small trees. But, the small ................

5-Mar-2009 Round 6, Manfield, 28th Feb - 1st March 2009
Round 6 at Manfield in the Manawatu, my birth place a long time ago. Te Arakura is between Palmerston North and Feilding and the school I started at is still standing as is the original home. Lots of Danish families around that area; Clausens, Johansens and Pedersens. I remember well kids coming to school on horseback, no bridles or saddles; they simply slipped off the side and .........................

Hello again We left Grumpy’s Retreat and Holiday Park in Geraldine at 10.00a.m. Monday to travel to the southern most race track in the world, Teretonga Park, Invercargill. Only small panel damage and.....................

3-Feb-2009 Round 3 Ruapuna Park 29th – 30th November 2008
Round 3 Ruapuna Park 29th – 30th November 2008 Powerbuilt Raceway at Ruapuna Park is another ‘slowish’, lots of second gear circuit, yet quite technical to get the best from the race car without cooking the tyres and brakes. The track is 3.3km’s in length and we get into 4th gear once per lap for about six seconds. Each lap in our car is 1min 31ish. Our car was super quick last year at this event but plagued with.............

10-Oct-2008 Time out for Mark Pedersen.
Marks first drive was at Rosebank road kart club 29 years ago in the midget class. These budget races had an ironhorse lawn mower engine. Next was the rookie class, the real thing, and real engine with a restrictor. Next the junior’s class with a purpose built Yamaha race engine, then came senior lites. Mark holds lap records in each class raced in.

10-Oct-2008 Round 1 Taupo 4th – 5th Oct 2008
I am late with this report. I have been two hours trying to find the correct words. We have had two weekends off since April and started our first round at Taupo with a fresh, effectively new car, two strong engines and the best spares package ever. We had a short test prior to the first round at Taupo with Craig Baird to get him comfortable ..............
