11th=30, 12th=28, 13th=26, 14th=24, 15th=22, 16th=20, 17th=18, 18th=16, 19th=14, 20th=12

NZV8 Series 2008-2009 championship for the United Video Falcon driven by Craig Baird – Wrap-up
33 drivers had a go at the championship, with up to 28 on the grid and a minimum of 21 on the grid at every meeting.
· 7 Rounds; started all 21 races.
· 2nd place for round points for the last 4 rounds.
· 3rd place in championship for Craig’s first full season of NZV8’s.
· NZV8 Rookie of the Year
· Qualified in top 10 at every round which included 2x pole positions at last two rounds.
· Fastest ever NZV8 qualifying time at Pukekohe.
· 68% of race finishes had a placing in the top 4.
· 4x Race wins
· 2x 2nd place
· 3x 3rd place
· 4x 4th place
· 1x 6th place
· 2x 7th place
· 1x 11th place
· 2x 12th place
· 1x racing incident DNF
· 1x mechanical DNF
We also had the two greatest race win margins this season; 12.76 seconds at Ruapuna where we started right at the back of the reverse grid and a 14.27second lead at Teretonga.
The closest leader’s margin for a race win was 6.64sec and they started at the front of the grid.
